Our Website, www.innerglowwell.com, is hosted on the Squarespace platform. Appointment scheduling is managed through Acuity Scheduling, a Squarespace product. We also maintain a separate newsletter distributed through Squarespace’s Email Campaigns feature, distinct from our Substack publication described below. All platforms process certain visitor and subscriber data on our behalf as service providers.
Our services are directed solely to residents of the United States. We do not offer services to individuals located in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom. If you are located in one of those regions, please do not use our Website or submit personal information to us.
Our newsletters are hosted on Substack and through Squarespace’s Email Campaigns feature, respectively – third-party platforms that are not geographically or age-restricted in the same manner as the rest of our Website. Notwithstanding the restriction above, individuals located outside the United States, including the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, may be technically able to subscribe to either newsletter. The restriction described above applies to our session-based services; it does not and cannot, bind Substack’s or Squarespace’s platform-level access.
2. SCOPE — WHAT THIS POLICY COVERS
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information We collect:
• Through our Website, www.innerglowwell.com;
• Through our Acuity Scheduling booking page;
• Through your subscription to either of our newsletters, hosted on the Substack platform or through Squarespace’s Email Campaigns feature;
• In email, text, or other electronic communications between you and Us; and
• When you interact with features or content on our Website that link to this Policy.
This Policy does not apply to information collected:
• By Us offline or through any other means not described above;
• By any third party, including through applications or content that may link to or be accessible from our Website.
We have no control over how your data is collected, stored, or used by other websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites before providing data to them.
3. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
3.1 Information You Provide Voluntarily. Depending on how you use our Website, We may collect some or all of the following:
• Name
• Date of birth
• Gender
• Contact information (email address, telephone number)
• Demographic information (zip code, preferences, interests)
• Profession, job title, or business/company name (if relevant to the services requested)
• Appointment and scheduling information provided through Acuity Scheduling
• Communications you send to Us
When you book an appointment through our Acuity Scheduling page, Acuity may create a client profile associated with your email address. This profile allows you to view your appointment history, manage upcoming bookings, and update your contact information directly within the Acuity platform. This profile is managed by Acuity Scheduling subject to their Privacy Policy at squarespace.com/privacy. You may contact us at privacy@innerglowwell.com if you have questions about information held in your booking profile or wish to request its deletion.
3.2 Payment Information. When you purchase services, payment card information is transmitted directly to our third-party payment processor (Stripe) via an encrypted TLS/SSL connection. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers. Our payment processor is PCI-DSS compliant. We retain only the last four digits of your card number and card type for order reference purposes. Financial transaction records are retained for seven (7) years in compliance with applicable tax and accounting requirements. Please review your payment processor's privacy policy before use. This Section applies to payments for session-based Services. Payments for newsletter subscriptions are processed entirely through Substack and its payment processor, Stripe, as described in Section 3.6, and are not handled by the payment processor described above.
3.3 Information Collected Automatically. When you visit our Website, certain technical information is collected automatically by Squarespace and Acuity Scheduling as our service providers. This may include:
• IP address
• Browser type and version
• Operating system
• Device information
• Pages visited and time spent on those pages
• Referring website address (the site you visited before arriving at ours)
We have configured our Website to restrict non-essential analytics and performance cookies to the extent permitted by the Squarespace platform. Essential cookies necessary for the Website to function are placed automatically and cannot be disabled. See Section 12 (Cookies) for further detail.
3.4 Sensitive and Health-Related Information. Our services are not designed to collect health or medical information, and We do not request or require information about your physical or mental health. However, We recognize that you may voluntarily share such information — whether in free-text fields, intake forms, or during the course of receiving services. If you do, We will treat that information as sensitive personal information under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) and handle it with heightened protections: it will be used only to provide the service in connection with which it was shared, retained only for as long as necessary, and accessible only to authorized personnel. You are not required to provide health or wellness information, and you may request its removal at any time by contacting Us at privacy@innerglowwell.com.
3.5 Session Records. Inner Glow Well does not create or retain notes or records of the content of client sessions. Our practice model is built on confidential, in-the-moment consultations, and we do not document what is discussed, disclosed, or experienced during sessions.
We retain only the administrative records necessary to manage appointments and comply with our legal obligations — including your name, contact information, appointment history, service type, and payment records. These administrative records are maintained within our booking platform (Acuity Scheduling) and payment processor, are accessible only to the owner and manager of Inner Glow Well, LLC, and are retained for seven (7) years in accordance with applicable tax and accounting requirements before being securely deleted.
In the rare event that a safety concern disclosed during a session requires us to take action under applicable law — such as reporting a reasonable suspicion of elder abuse — we may create a brief factual record of that event and the actions taken, solely for the purpose of documenting our legal compliance. Such records are accessible only to the owner and manager of Inner Glow Well, LLC, retained for seven (7) years, and protected by the safeguards described below.
Safeguards: All administrative records are accessible only to the owner and manager of Inner Glow Well, LLC and are protected by: (a) strong passwords and two-factor authentication on all platforms containing client data; (b) access limited to devices owned and controlled by the practitioner; (c) encrypted transmission of all data via TLS/SSL; (d) no physical or paper records of any kind; and (e) secure deletion at the end of the applicable retention period.
Sessions are not recorded by Inner Glow Well. Clients are not permitted to record sessions without prior written consent from Inner Glow Well, LLC obtained in advance of the specific session. See our Terms and Conditions, Section 5, for the full recording policy.
3.6 Substack Newsletter Subscribers. If you subscribe to our newsletter through Substack, Substack, Inc. collects and processes your email address and related account information as its own independent data controller, under Substack’s own Privacy Policy (available at substack.com/privacy), separately from, and in addition to, this Policy. We receive your name and email address as the subscriber list for our publication, and We will not sell or share that list, consistent with Section 5. However, We do not control, and this Policy does not govern, Substack’s own handling of your data as a platform user, including its use of service providers, analytics, or automated content-review tools.
If Substack’s messaging or comment features are used to contact Us, please note that those communications are not end-to-end encrypted and may be accessible to Substack personnel for platform support and safety purposes. We recommend against sharing sensitive personal or health information through Substack’s messaging features; please contact Us directly at privacy@innerglowwell.com for any such communication.
If you subscribe to a paid tier of our newsletter, Substack, Inc. also collects and processes your payment and billing information through its payment processor, Stripe, as part of Substack’s own platform. This occurs separately from the payment processor described in Section 3.2, which applies to session bookings only. We do not receive or store your full payment card details for newsletter subscriptions. Substack provides Us only with subscriber-level information such as your email address, subscription tier, and billing status.
3.7 Squarespace Newsletter Subscribers. We maintain a separate email newsletter list, distinct from our Substack publication, for individuals who subscribe via a form on our Website. This list is collected and processed through Squarespace’s Email Campaigns feature. Unlike Substack, Squarespace acts solely as Our service provider for this list, and not as an independent controller, consistent with its role as Our website hosting provider described in Section 1. Squarespace’s Email Campaigns feature uses standard email engagement tracking, including open and click tracking, to provide Us with delivery and engagement statistics. This tracking is separate from, and not restricted by, the advertising and Website-tracking-script disclosures in Section 10. Our Substack and Squarespace newsletter lists are maintained separately and are not merged, cross-shared, or combined into a single list.
4. HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION?
We use the personal information We collect for the following purposes:
• Providing, managing, and personalizing our services and Website;
• Processing appointments and payments;
• Responding to your communications and inquiries;
• Sending service-related communications, including appointment confirmations and reminders;
• Sending marketing or promotional emails to which you have subscribed (you may unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email or by contacting Us directly);
• Conducting internal analytics to improve our Website and user experience;
• Complying with applicable law and legal obligations; and
• Protecting the security and integrity of our systems and services.
In some cases, the collection of data may be a statutory or contractual requirement, and We may be limited in the services We can provide without your consent to use such data.

5. DO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION?
Inner Glow Well, LLC does not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties. We do not share your personal information for monetary consideration or for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes. If this practice ever changes, We will provide you with advance notice and the opportunity to opt out before any such sharing occurs.
5.1 Service Providers. We may share personal information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, including payment processing, website hosting (Squarespace), and appointment scheduling (Acuity Scheduling). These providers are permitted to use your personal information only as necessary to provide those services to Us and are contractually required to maintain the confidentiality and security of your information. They may not use your personal information for their own marketing or independent purposes.
We also use Substack, Inc. and Squarespace’s Email Campaigns feature to publish and deliver our newsletters. Unlike our other service providers, Substack acts as an independent data controller, not solely Our processor, with respect to subscriber account data, consistent with Substack’s own Privacy Policy. Squarespace, by contrast, acts solely as Our service provider for newsletter delivery, as it does for website hosting.
As a technical matter, our Website is hosted on Squarespace, which processes visitor data as our service provider subject to Squarespace's Privacy Policy (available at squarespace.com/privacy). Any social media links on our Website may result in technical data flows to those platforms. These are platform-level technical interactions, not marketing data sharing, and We do not control or profit from them.
5.2 Anonymized Statistical Data. We may compile anonymized, non-personally-identifiable statistics about Website usage (traffic, usage patterns, general analytics) and may share such data with third parties. No such data will include personally identifying information.
5.3 Legal Requirements. We may disclose your personal information without prior notice when required by law or when We believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to: (a) comply with applicable law or legal process served on Us; (b) protect and defend our rights or property; or (c) protect the personal safety of our users or the public in emergency circumstances.
5.4 Business Transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or transfer of all or part of our business, personal information held by Us may be transferred to the successor entity. You will be notified in advance of such transfer by email or by a prominent notice on our Website, and will be given a reasonable opportunity to request that your personal information be deleted or withheld from the new owner before the transfer takes place.
6. HOW AND WHERE IS YOUR INFORMATION STORED?
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and to comply with our applicable legal and tax obligations, as described in the retention schedule below. We do not retain personal information beyond those periods. When the applicable retention period expires, personal information is securely deleted from our systems or, where deletion is managed by a third-party platform such as Acuity Scheduling or our payment processor, we will submit a deletion request to that platform. You may request deletion of your personal information at any time as described in Section 7, subject to our right to retain records required by law — including financial transaction records retained for seven (7) years in compliance with IRS and California FTB requirements.

Customer account data: Duration of account + 3 years after closure
Transaction / payment records: 7 years (tax compliance)
Client session records / practitioner notes: None created or retained – Company does not document session content.
Mandatory reporting event records (if applicable): 7 years from the date of the event.
Marketing preferences and opt-outs: 5 years minimum
Security and access logs: 12 months
Correspondence and communications: 3 years from last contact
Newsletter payment/billing data (paid subscriptions): Not retained by Us. Held by Substack and Stripe under their own retention policies.
Security Measures. Data security is of great importance to Us. We have implemented suitable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure data collected through our Website, including encrypted transmission of payment data via TLS/SSL and PCI-DSS-compliant payment processing.
Notwithstanding these measures, no method of transmission over the internet can be guaranteed 100% secure. You are advised to take suitable precautions when transmitting data to Us via the internet.
Data Breach Notification. In the event of a security breach that compromises your personal information, We will notify you as required by applicable California law. Notification will be provided without unreasonable delay by email to the address associated with your account, by conspicuous posting on our Website, or by mail, as permitted and required by law. 7.2 Email Opt-Out. If you have subscribed to marketing or promotional emails from Us, you may opt out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email you receive or by contacting Us directly.

We do not charge a fee for the first verifiable request in any 12-month period.
7.4 California Shine the Light California residents may request information about our disclosure of personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. To submit such a request, contact Us at privacy@innerglowwell.com or by mail at the address above. Please include Shine the Light Request in the subject line or on the envelope.
7.5 Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a Do Not Track (DNT) feature. Our Website does not currently respond to DNT signals. You may restrict cookies through your browser settings as described in Section 11.

10. PLATFORM AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICE DISCLOSURES

Third-Party Service Providers
Squarespace (Website Hosting): Squarespace collects and processes visitor data on our behalf as our hosting provider. Squarespace also processes email addresses and engagement data for subscribers to our separate, Squarespace-hosted newsletter list, as Our service Provider. Privacy Policy: squarespace.com/privacy
Acuity Scheduling (Appointment Booking): Acuity Scheduling, a Squarespace product, processes appointment and scheduling data you provide during booking. It places necessary functional cookies on your device as part of the scheduling process.
Substack (Newsletter Publishing): Substack hosts and delivers our separate Substack newsletter and independently processes subscriber account data as its own data controller. For paid subscriptions, Substack also processes payment and billing information through its payment processor, Stripe. Our Substack and Squarespace newsletter lists are maintained separately. Stripe (Payment Processor): Processes payment card transactions. Does not share card data with us beyond the last four digits.
Instagram (Social Media): Our Website includes a link to our Instagram profile. Clicking that link directs you to Instagram's platform, which is governed by Meta's Privacy Policy. No personal information you have provided to us is transmitted to Instagram as a result of this link.
We do not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or other third-party advertising or tracking scripts on our Website. If this changes, this Policy will be updated accordingly.
11. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a web server when you visit a website. They help websites function correctly and remember preferences.
Essential Cookies. Our Website places essential cookies on your device that are necessary for the Website and Acuity Scheduling to function. These cookies cannot be disabled and do not require your consent as they are strictly necessary for the services you have requested.
Non-Essential Cookies. We have disabled non-essential analytics and performance cookies in our Squarespace settings to the extent permitted by the platform. We do not use advertising or behavioral tracking cookies.
Third-Party Cookies. If you click a link to a third-party website (such as Instagram), that site may place its own cookies on your device. We do not control those cookies and they are governed by the respective third party's privacy policy. You may manage your preferences for those platforms through their respective settings.

12. AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
California law (CPPA ADMT Regulations, effective January 1, 2026) provides certain rights with respect to automated decision-making technology (ADMT) used in significant decisions affecting you.
12.1 Current Use of Automated Tools. We currently make the following automated decisions using technology: None. We currently profile your personal data for the following purposes: None.
12.2 Future Use. If We implement AI or automated tools that process personal information — for example, for scheduling, personalized content, or customer service — We will update this section to describe those uses and any applicable opt-out rights before implementation. If such tools are used in ways that produce significant effects on you, We will provide advance notice and honor your right to opt out.
12.3 Generative AI. We do not currently use generative artificial intelligence tools on our Website. If We do in the future, We will update this section to describe those uses and to provide any disclosures required by California law (including AB 2013, effective January 1, 2026) before such tools are deployed.
12.4 Your Rights. When ADMT is used, you will have the right to: (a) know when ADMT is being used in connection with a significant decision about you; (b) opt out of such use; (c) request information about the logic and outputs of ADMT applied to you; and (d) request human review of an automated decision. 13. CHILDREN'S AND MINORS' PRIVACY
Our Website is not directed to children under the age of thirteen (13), and We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If We become aware that We have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, We will take prompt steps to delete that information. California Minors (Under 18).
